Yep, or they name stuff and take credit for trails they didn't actually make.

Walking the trail is quite different from riding them that's for sure. I was surprised at how few off shoots there were on the hike (Red highlighting where we hiked). Other than coming across a mound of grey crushed stone quite a ways in (A marks app. Where it was seen), the route is singletrack with no offshoots (Other than near the huntmar starting point).

When riding, you really do not take in the surroundings and rather are focussing on what's in front of you and not what's around you. It was a different perspective. Snakes were everywhere, out enjoying the sun out on Saturday. Allot of well placed ladders on wet areas, protecting the groundscape which was nice to see. There was one area that was quite wet and seemed to be so for probably a good part of the season. It had been blocked off in favor of a more dryer route. It was simply blocked off by a mound of branches, however there was no sign of riding through the blocked off area, but rather all traffic was going on the dryer route, which was good to see.

It was quite amazing to see all the offshoots and rock cuts and sheer drop offs that were present near the huntmar entrance. You could literally spend a whole day right in that area and never ride the same route twice.

Nah..take the Terryfox exit. Head North on Terryfox, and don't get off until "Goulbourn Forced Road" (at All-Saints high school). Hang a left onto GFR, and watch for the parking lot on the right after the 'Hidden Driveway' sign.

Just to confuse everything, here's an alternate, and possibly the fastest way to get there from the Queensway: exit at Kanata Road (the exit between March and terry Fox), follow it until All Saints as well, and take a right onto GFR, then follow up to parking lot on your right.

That's not faster given the number of stop signs and traffic lights encountered. PS. Joe...shouldn't Metcalfe Realty's land be overlaid and marked no trespassing too?
